The brief
A boulevard that shoppers will walk in August needs cooling that is invisible once the paving is down. That means the distribution goes in first, coordinated with every other service in the ground, and the outlets are designed into the street furniture.

The work
We laid the insulated chilled-water pipework and risers along the boulevard beneath the promenade, ahead of the hard landscaping, and delivered the outdoor cooling that serves the retail frontage.
